Once I turned 30, I noticed that everyone around me started having kids. Suddenly, my Instagram feed went from memes and dog pics to lots of bellies and babies. And, honestly, I love it! When my friends and family members started getting pregnant, I found the perfect excuse to make new and exciting projects for all my little nieces and nephews. There are just so many exciting possibilities! What type of personality would the baby have? Would they love unicorns? Dinosaurs? Bunnies? What if I make one of each just in case?
Making toys and blankets for babies made me discover a whole new world of possibilities, in terms of yarn color, texture, and cuteness, that I didn’t even know existed. It’s the perfect excuse to go yarn shopping and come back with way more options than I actually need for a project! So if you’re a fellow crocheter who’s about to become a parent, grandparent, aunt or uncle, or a bigger sibling, don’t miss out on this compilation!
